Various Filipino organizations in B.C. collaborate to support current migrants on the island. Pat Fernandez reports.
On May 10, 2025, nearly a hundred Filipino migrants, advocates, and allies gathered to spotlight urgent issues faced by international students, hospitality workers, temporary foreign workers, and caregivers. Together, we mapped challenges, surfaced strategic solutions, and laid the groundwork for collective action and policy change.
