🌳 “Ako si Philip John Omaweng. Isang PUNO—Punong MALALIM ANG PANGARAP.”

We are immensely proud to celebrate our UPAABC scholar, Philip John A. Omaweng, on his graduation from the University of the Philippines Baguio with a degree in BS Biology (Microbiology), Cum Laude (1.459 GWA)! 🎓✨

In a moving post reflecting on his journey, Philip shared what it means to grow like a tree—not reaching blindly into the sky, but growing deep roots grounded in family, culture, and community:

“Ang mataas na pangarap, kailangan mong lumipad. Ang malalim na pangarap, hindi… Sa mga kapwa ko IGOROT diyan na nangangarap makapagtapos—laliman ninyo ang inyong mga pangarap.”

Philip honored his Applai Igorot heritage on stage, reminding us all that true accomplishment is about staying rooted while offering shade and shelter to others.
