It is always good to reconnect with our partners for the UPAABC Scholarship Program. For August 2026, the campuses visited were UP Diliman, UP Visayas, and UP Los Banos. Here are photos from Anita Aytona, Chair of Scholarships.
Visit to UP Diliman, College of Engineering on August 12
For school year 2026-2027, UPAABC has a total of 6 engineering scholars (3 current and 3 new). In the photos are the 4 out of 6 beneficiaries and the officers of the College of Engineering and UPERDFI.
Visit to UP Visayas in Iloilo on August 20
UPAABC launched its partnership with UP Visayas this year with 4 scholars majoring in Accountancy. The grants were a big help as the 4th year beneficiaries did their internships in Manila last June. They eagerly shared their experiences and the excitement of travelling from Iloilo to Manila.
Anita Aytona was warmly welcomed by UPV Chancellor Clement Camposano and Scholarship Officer Marites Geonanga.
Visit to UP Los Banos, College of Engineering and Agro-Industrial Technology (CEAT) on August 25
UPAABC has a total of 8 UPLB grantees for SY 2026-2027 (5 new engineering scholars in CEAT and 3 current ones in the College of Arts and Sciences).
It was a pleasure meeting again with CEAT Dean Dr. Rex Demafelis and Secretary Prof. Butch Battalier.
UPLB CEAT takes pride in garnering a 100% passing rate for the Engineering Licensure Exams. Congratulations to UPAABC scholar, Marc Victor Sales, for ranking 7th place in the Civil Engineering Licensure Exams. Marc graduated with honours (Magna Cum Laude) last July. His GPA was 1.259.
